The MLH1 Methylation Crystal Digital PCR® Assay is a 10X assay designed to detect and quantify methylation in the promoter of MLH1 gene using the Ruby Chip. MLH1 is involved in DNA mismatch repair and promoter hypermethylation is the most common reason of gene inactivation. This is an important cause for genomic instability and cell proliferation in several cancers, notably in colorectal and endometrial cancers.
